Hong Kong Dental Experts Visit for Cross-Regional Exchange


On April 24th, our delegation of esteemed dental experts from the Academy of General Dental Practice visited the hospital to engage in a meaningful exchange program. Our delegation included Dr. Lai Ying Wah, President of the Academy of General Dental Practice; Dr. Luo Weibin, Vice President; Dr. Zhou Mingzhong, President of the Hong Kong Dental Association; and prominent experts such as Dr. Tang Dayong and Dr. Wu Jianwei. This visit marked a significant step in enhancing communication and collaboration between the dental communities of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Medical and Health Development Committee

Recently, the Dental Hospital celebrated the 25th anniversary of its Implantology Center by hosting the 12th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan Oral Implantology Forum. The event was organized by the Guangdong Medical Education Association, with the Implantology Specialty Committee of the Guangdong Medical Education Association and the Dental Hospital co-planning and hosting the event. Over 40 renowned oral implantology experts from China and abroad, including participants from Europe and the United States, joined the forum alongside more than 600 domestic dental professionals.

First Mainland-Hong Kong Oral Medicine Academic Salon

The First Mainland-Hong Kong Oral Medicine Academic Salon was successfully held at the Oral Medicine Center of Wuhan Union Hospital of China, hosted by the center itself.

The event featured a keynote lecture by Dr. Luo Weibin, our Director of Mainland Affairs for the Hong Kong Academy of General Dental Practice and a medical institution public opinion analyst. Dr. Luo delivered an insightful presentation titled "Private for Public Use: Reflections on Added Value in Oral Healthcare Services." In his lecture, Dr. Luo provided an in-depth analysis of the operational models of high-end dental clinics in Hong Kong and coastal regions. He emphasized the distinctive service features of these clinics, highlighting key practices that oral healthcare providers in other regions could adopt. Dr. Luo also shared new trends and innovations in oral healthcare service models, sparking interactive discussions with department heads on improving healthcare management.
